Snowsnowsnowsnowsnow

The Nor'easter started here late this afternoon and we are supposed to get 8-12 inches tonight and 6-10 tomorrow so it looks like we are going to have quite a bit of the white stuff. All the airports from Virginia to Newark NJ announced on Thursday that they would be closed Saturday and cancelled all flights starting this afternoon. Quite a stampede at the supermarkets since everyone wants to make sure that they have enough milk and bread to ride out the storm as well as buffalo wings, ribs, chips and beer for the Super Bowl on Sunday. We Americans are exceptionally good at reporting bad weather and every major TV and cable channel has had its staff posted in newsvans in strategic locations all over the Delaware Valley since the Friday rush hour.

This is what it looked like on the front porch at 7:30 this evening. Stay tuned for an update tomorrow morning, or you can check www.weather.com
